ls swap in 91 crx harness problems
im doing a ls swap in my crx im using my stock harness the problem is that one of the plugs are deferent on my distributer i would just swap out the plug but it has 7 wires compared to my crx harness has 5 what should i do
First off what model crx do you have? I actually am using a 88-91 si sohc dizzy on my da integra but only one bolt hole lines up. You could do that if you wanted I guess
sounds like you have a DX, LX or STD model car - when converting it to MPFI, you have to add 2 wires from the ECU to the distributor for the Cylinder sensor - these are the other 2 wires that go into the round 7-wire connector that you need to swap onto the harness to match the connector on the distributor
o.k. - sounds like you may have a harness that was converted to run the DOHC ZC - the DOHC ZC uses a square 5-wire connector and has the other 2 wires running to the Cylinder sensor on the exhaust camshaft - the cylinder sensor wires are blue with green stripe and blue with yellow stripe - do you have those 2 wires coming out of the harness at the distributor connector?
