There is no cabin filter.

And you have to have that kind of evaporator too. My boyfriend's CX hatch didn't have a/c, so when we opened his car up it didn't have a spot for the filter at all.

If you have a/c and have a stale smell you can check inside where the filter would go and clear out any leaves, etc.
