Default Stump On Gas And Car just cuts out

I have a civic Cx that has like a fuel problem. As you slowly go it works but can't get past 20 mph. If you stomp on the pedal, the vehicle just goes quiet because it seems like somethings not running. Today we replaced the timing belt. Could 1 teeth off be my problem? Before that the belt was really loose so we switched it with a new one. Now its like this. The car also overheats. Before we switched the timing belt it didn't. I don't know what else to mess with. I already checked air lines. Do anyone have a suggestion? Please let me know.

Check your water pump, timing, and also check your sensor plugs.

Car loves to idle at like 600 or 700 only. No CEL becase i think previous owner removed it. It never goes on. All sensors were not taken off.
