Default stripped and polished 1 wheel after a WEEK

I bought my car with these white eagle wheels I didnt care to much so I started to play and got myself into some time consuming project thats addicting. Ive been sanding this wheel for a week every night for about two hours and have three left. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

After I removed the paint this ugliness is what took up my weeknights

Sanded down from 60,150,320,400,600,800,1000,and 2000

3 coats of mothers mag and aluminum

4 days after start

The rest I just finished tonight taped off the wheel and sprayed in between each of the wheel spokes with gunmetal wheel paint (rattle can) it looks good. IF you look in the back of the wheel you can still see white paint and some is bubbled up from aircraft remover. Im getting to that tommorow but I was so anxious to get a finished product I had to paint the part that counts.

were like these but white now they look alright to me. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Nicely done! I would've just bought myself a new set of wheels but that's just me. Good job though.

Did you do all that sanding by hand? Please tell me you at least had a power sander to get the rough casting marks out of the aluminum!

I did it all by hand because the wheel spokes have a cup in them so a sander wont sand even and all a dremel did was create more work by hand because the bits dug into the wheel.
