Welding on Jet Hot coated Header?

Welding on Jet Hot coated Header?
I am look at purchasing a header that is mild steel and has just been Jet Hot coated, I need to some how get a flange on to the header so I can connect it to my exhaust. Any insight or experiences welding a flange or anything for that matter onto Jet Hot coated material?
