My engine builder has recently gone to the dark side (Subaru STi) so he has not been keeping up on the tuning side of Honda. He is rebuilding my GS-r and was wondering what type of rings most people are using for a performance rebuild. It will be SC'd and possibly running a .040 decked head thats ported (from his former race car). I plan to use JE pistons. Any suggestions? Thanks.

use the rings JE sells/reccomends. the honda rings might be a diffrent size so they might not work.

i use JE pistons all the time and use the rings they supply/sell. great pistons and rings.
