WHAT!!! booo too much rain, too much lightning. too much driving to get there.. todays fed ex WDCR SCCA region afternoon heats were canceled. i understand why, but it stinks to drive 2 hours, change tires, sit in the rain, walk the course, then get canceled.. and have to switch back tires and hook up the trailer to head 2 hours back home. that must have stunk for the peeps from PA!!! i'm not mad, just wondering what's gonna happen now? refund? re runs? hehehee. oh well, can't wait for the next event! hopefully it'll be slightly more dry. hehe..

anyone else out there today? the morning heats were running till about 1:30 or so. they had, i believe, two delays for lightning in the morning.

 

I wasn't down there (had to work). Too bad though. We had some light drizzle today here in PA.

 

Yeah, it was a pretty wet and soggy day. I was supposed to run 4th heat. I had one run before they cancelled the event.

Switching tires in that rain was an interesting experience to say the least. It felt like sleet.
