I have a d16z6 out of a del sol. I want to put the motor or just the head in my car. I am purchsing a vtec controller thru the internet. My motor (y7 98 hatch) has almost 50,000 on it with some limited Nitrous Use in the past. I want to make it faster. I am considering building up the vtec motor and installing it. Which is more efficiant? Use my block (y7) and the new head set up or just do the complete swap? I am already getting the head ported and polished a header and a walbro fuel pump to help out with the Nitrous and the fuel pressure. I have a spare motor either way. I am also considering trading my delsol for a good b18 vtec motor and trans and putting this y6 engine into my girls hatch.
