I have a 98 prelude non sh with a spoiler brake light that doesnt fully work, by that i mean, some of the bulbs won't go off. The car has another brake light in the back right near the rear window.
My question is, how do I change it so I can have the brake in the back turn initiate when i apply the brakes instead of my spoiler brake bulbs. If not, does
anyone knows, what would be the cheapest way to replace 4 brake bulbs on the spoiler if at all possible, rather than replacing the whole spoiler?
THanks.

See if there is a connection for the light bulb on the rear deck. They might have just unplugged the harness or bulb when they installed the spoiler.
The spoiler w/ brake light was from the SH model; the base model did not come standard with a spoiler so they put the third brake light in the back window. Whoever swapped the spoiler on there probably unplugged the cabin brake light as two center brake lights would look a little strange and may not actually be legal. As far as replacing bulbs, I don't think you can change the individual lights in the spoiler (I think they're LED), but I'm pretty sure you can take out the brake light assembly and replace it with a new one. So you don't have to replace your entire spoiler, just the brake light.
I bought mine (non-sh) new and the dealer installed the spoiler as optional equipment. They wired it into the center break light. Also had small round fog lights installed as optional equipment - have yet to see another one with them. They really arn't too functional though.
