del sol mileage?
i have a stock 93 sol with d16z6 and auto tranny.its averaging around 30 mpg but doesnt do any better on the highway, where it used to get about 35.its got new distributor, plug wires, plugs, and fuel filter, and 177k miles on the car.is there a way to check o2 sensor to see if replacing it would help get better mileage (car is not showing codes or running bad)it is the original o2 sensor...
Since it sounds like you've taken care of the basic maintenance items, make sure you check the less obvious things like tire pressure. You'd be surprised at how much underinflated tires can affect your mpg. If you noticed bad mileage all of a sudden, it's probably something simple.
I routinely get about the 33-36 mpg in my 95 sol. When my mpg's drop to the low 30's, I check the tire pressure and air filter before anything else.
