battery question

Default battery question

hi guys! a friend of mine ask me a question... he has a ef thats not been running for almost 5 months now he doesnt have a battry on his car and he wants to warm it up.. now he has a honda pilot and hes wondering if we can use a jumper cable and hook on the pilot and use it to warm up his car... would it work? will there be harm?

No. Do you have any power at all? Battery's do drain and you might need more juice. In that case, there is no harm in getting power from another car...that's how most people do it. There are battery charger's to recharge a battery as well, but jumping the car isn't a problem.

no as in no battery at all.. he just want to warm it up...but i was thinking that the battery of the pilot has a lot of wattage dont you think it might burn something?

You can either just bring the battery over it will be alot safer.

It shouldn't do any harm the most it can do is blow out your big fusees in the fuse box under the hood.
All cars run 12volt battery's so it should be just fine.
