69 charger fully built race engine running low 9's every run....im going to get her in the low 8's/high 7's no matter what it takes me....but what would you go....turbo or blower

i currently got a blower on but havent ran it yet...just bought it cheap off my buddy....

 

I'd think a 200 shot would work.

 

this has nothing to do with serious engine theory or performance, but i always loved twin turbo set ups on muscle cars, you just don't see them very often. you see blowers all the time though

 

yes i know.....i saw a video on youtube of a biturbo charger going 8.1 1/4

so im leaning towards that

If you already have the blower and have it installed why mess with it? If you're running low 9's N/A youre going to run 8's easily if you can hook with the blower.

 

i know i was just pondering whether or not the bi turbo would give me a better time you know? you never see them on muscle cars....i think the blower coming outta the hood looks nasty though.....maybe ill set up biturbo next season if im not happy this season with the blower

 

that thing is mean looking, it must just sound down right nasty.

 

looks goodd, im guessing mini-tub in the back? I do love the look of the butterfly valves coming through the hood, I didn't think you already had the supercharger on. If you really aiming to drop some time off you should get some fiberglass (carbon if you're ballin) fenders/hood, and gut some spare doors, they say for every 100lbs you drop a tenth.. but i would hope you've already heard of that since that thing is quite the machine.

 

thanks alot man!!! i know it looks sick as hell. i was debating that fiberglass thing actually and decided not to go with it because im still trying to keep this car somewhat original/ street legal (besides emissions haahahahahha) but i was thinking maybe a 200 shot of nitrous in a week or so after i run her in a few days
