Got my H22A running in my EG recently. Ran pretty good for a short day then the battery light came on followed by the check engine. Check engine light would go off when I turned off the ignition, but would come back on shortly after start up.

I figured I needed a new alternator (maybe the JDM one was worn out). $104 later the problem doesn't go away.
Long story short, I had connected the alternator wire comming out of my Ry-Wire harness to ground instead of inside the fuse box where it belongs. I'm suprised I didn't really F somthing up driving it like this for two days.

Just figured I'd post this incase any one else is as super smart as me and does this. Maybe they can save $104..
