Venting gas tank.
I have a 93 Civic coupe with stock gas tank. Changed all the hard lines to 10AN for feed and 6AN for return. I used a stock fuel pump holder/cover and cut off the original pieces and welded my bungs onto there. For the return i cut off the little tube and drilled a hole for the return to go through. For the charcoal canaster i took it off as well as the hard line. At the gas tank i cut the hose that was on there and just let it hang.
Now the problem. I took off the original wiring clip and ran my power and neg. through that hole that was left, then i JB welded the hold hoping it wont leak or smell inside. For whatever reason when i prime the fuel pump (255LP HP) it will make so much pressure that it goes through the JB weld and makes a puddle. Not really sure what i should do, i was thinking of taking off the JB putting a garmet and putting a hose to the floor but then it might leak fuel. Any ideas? Sorry this was long i know. Thanks.
