i need help bad i just did the y7 to y8 manifold
i got an manual manifold but i want to use my y7TB.
i need to know how to take the rotor off so i could switch it with y7 rotor to y8 rotor.
I also need to know where the hell does this go to?

does it goes to to my y7tb but what does the other hole go to?
to the thermostat?

easy on the pics.. they may hurt the guys with 56k.
alright, changing the throttle "rotor" i think i just put an 11mm wrench on it and gave it a few good pops with the heel of my hand. i opened the throttle and shoved a rag in so the spring wouldn't close it back while i was trying to get the bolt loose. if that doesn't seem to do there may be falts for a small wrench or a socket for a hex key on the threaded shaft.
the hoses: the small nipple on the metal pipe under the manifold runs into the Y8 iacv on the back of your manifold. from the Y8 iacv on the back one runs to the Y7 iacv on the lower side of the TB. from there on runs to the thermo housing.
if you have all the hoses of or you can still get to them easy and you haven't refilled the anti-freeze, go ahead and put an auto Y8 U-shapped hose on the thermo housing. the preformed one from the dealer that fits the automatic EX has a slight downward bend to it and keeps it out of the way of the Y7 iacv on the bottom of the TB.
have fun. oh and get that throttle nut nice and tight (maybe some thread lock too)

thx a lot dude. i found out that u really dont need to plug it in the y8 iacv.
just plug it straight to the y7 TB,when u told me to go through y8 iacv then y7 iacv my idle stay at 1300.
now i just plug it to y7 tb iac and the idle is perfect.
but i left the y8 iacv on the back so i wont have vacuum leak.
