ok i bought a b16 ef hatch and when i bought it the speedo cable was broke off in the transmission...so first off do i need the piece that the cable goes into replaced and the cable or just the cable and second when ever i took the speedo cable out of the back of the (crx) speedometer everytime i turn oon my blinker my tachometer needle bounces down to zero and my temp gauge bounces up....whats wrong???

 

if your VSS works then you should only need a new speedo cable...

and someone must've changed out your cluster and did a wack wiring job..

the blinker signal wire is is probably hooked up to the tach input or temp input on the cluster...

you would have to take the cluster out and probably redo all the wiring....

 

ea ur right about the crappy wiring but everything xcept the speedometer was fine untill i took that useless cable out....i guesss i must have bumped something i donno man thanx alot
