im going to b e getting a 98 honda prelude,already has cat back exhaust system and cold air intake,the engine internals are stock,but the only problem is that its automatic,and i want to put a turbo in it,the tranny is new and has the sequetial stick shift thing,can i still put a turbo in it without having to put aftermarket engine internals?

 

i would not turbo the automatic for a few reasons.

1) the transmission has problems from the get go
2) not really many "good" tuning programs for automatics
3) buy a 5 speed.

 

and turbo is down the line when you understand a bit more about how your motor/tranny/ecu works. OR for the rich (doesnt really apply to many honda owners) did u already buy it?

 

i didnt buy it but its a friends whos gunna sell it to me soon
