I have a 90 std with a crap 4 speed and I would like to throw a 5 speed in it since the 4 speed grinds in 2nd and 3rd. I can get an 90 ex tranny from a friend for cheap but will I need new linkage or anything else? Help a noob out haha thanks in advance.

 

no just bolt the crap up

 

It will bolt right up, check the clutch though. oh and you need a shift ****
with 5 gears or it won't work. haha

 

try and see if you can get his front knuckles from that ex too.

 

but my 4 spd has a 5 spd shift **** nd i can't get into 5th either can any of my friends who drive it lmao.
