what is needed to remove ALL AC system??? please?

Default what is needed to remove ALL AC system??? please?

i looked and only found this picture



i was wondering where #6 part was? is that the part under the dash by the passenger side? i wanted to take all the AC systemout. i just want to leave the heater on though. any help please? would be really appreciated?? thank you in advance

yes, part 6 is next to the blower... its called the evaporator..

please bring your car to a reputable a/c shop to get it discharged properly before removing your ac.

you will also need a new duct, to take up the space the evaporator takes up.

what do you mean a new duct? well actually do i need it to be taken to the shop if the only remainder part is number 6? i just have the shell of my civic and the other parts are not in the honda (1 to 5) ???? by the way thank you for you knowledge, and helping me out

well if you take out the evaporator... its a fairly large section....

so you will have a big gaping hole between the blower motor and the heater core part..

you said you wanted to keep the heat functioning... so you need a duct - forget the part number - to bridge the gap between the blower and the heater core...

also you don't need to bring it to the shop if the car's a/c has already been discharged...
