I need to know how to tighten the belt that is on the a/c compressor.

I think the guy that install my belt at honda dealership didn't make it tight enough because it squeak like a mouse where the a/c compressor is at.

it goes like this squeak pause squeak pause squeak.
I already try belt dressing no help so im guessing the belt isn't tight enough. but the a/c does blow cold so i know it isn't the a/c clutch for sure.

 

sometime an over tighten belt will squeal too. there is a 10mm bolt that sits on top; to the left of the ac small tension pulley. turn clockwise to tighten and counter clockwise to loosen belt. your power steering might be in the way but the bolt is still accessible, just a bit harder.

tightening or loosing a a/c belt really isnt that challenging but are you sure its squeaking cause its loose?
if anything has been moved it could be squeaking because something isnt lineing up right so its chafing the edge of the belt.why did you replace the belt?

 

if you cant do it, bring it back to the dealership and have them fix their messup...

 

all my belt was replace including T like a year ago from honda.

that was when i first got my car.
