Car Wont start? its got no power

Car Wont start? its got no power
Hey i have not started my car for about a week and i just put my battery in the boot when i turn the car nothing happens no clicking or anything my lights come on , on the dash
Usally when my alarm is turned off with the little key it does this but its not turned off but it has been for a week maybe there is a back up battery so its stoped it from working?
