i've noticed recently that my civic idles kind of weird, its an automatic, when im at a stop sign, i hear the fans come on and then my car idles as if it might shut down, it never turns off but im concerned about it now.

my car has 60k miles on it, do you guys recommend anything? i use to pump chevron with techron but changed it ARCO gas do you guys think that has anything to do with it? any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

yes i do, do you think that could be it? but it never did it before till recently.

 

its probably your a/c that you hear when stopped...my car does it as well. maybe you just never noticed it before? or maybe im wrong.

 

mine does the same thing & its an auto as well. I won't be concerned about it till the day it actually stalls... lol

 

i have a manual and i have the same problem i have no idea why. i also have no intake i have a cat back but it did it when my car was fully stock too.
