torque specs. tranny to block?

Default torque specs. tranny to block?

i dont have a helms or anything at the moment. anyone know what the torque specs are for a b16 tranny to block? i think its 47ft lbs?

Just tighten it down like how you would with a tire.

Wheels have torque specs too... 100ft/lb typically, some 80-90 also

Honestly though, I did just that with my trans, I just tightened them till they were tight as I felt good Not saying this is a good thing, but it hasn't fallen off the car yet....

That's what I have alway's done when I install trannys. BTW I'm 54 y/o I've done a few tranny's.

I alway's torque lug nut's to 80ftlbs some things are important others are not.

I Re&Re at least 2 trannies a month at work..... i haven't torqued a bellhousing bolt yet.....
just tighten it........

Manual calls for 47 ft. lbs for bell housing bolts and 33 ft. lbs for starter bolt. Hope this helps.

ALL HONDAS ARE 80FT/LB on the lugnuts (alloy or steel wheels)

just get it on there good and tight, but if you want to torque them its not going to hurt anything.
