kumho ecsta spt query for u.s guys

kumho ecsta spt query for u.s guys
after reading several theads seems very popular stateside as good daily drive tyre and tempted to go for set as basically
1) well priced
2) last lot longer than sticky tyres like ad07, RS2 and RT-615
3) people say offer better wet weather performance than some more track focused tyres
4) i know dry grip isnt comparable to likes of the above tyres ive mentioned but im willing to sacrifice some dry grip in this case as will end up with spare set of stickier tyres for summer and track days
now over here in u.k they list them is kumho ku31 ecsta sport, is the same tyre i find posted in some many threads on here that you guys refer to as kumho ecsta spt ?
