Default Car won't start during the day

It is rather odd. During the day the engine will not start. It will turn but it won't turn on. Sometmies it will turn on but shut off after awhile. I am driving a honda del sol 94 si with a d16zc swap. I changed the starter, transmission, cap, spark plugs and distributor. Is there anything else I need to replace. This keeps happening.

all they basically said was that i needed a new starter. I got that replaced, but it still does the same thing.

i think im going to replace the ignition coil and igniter to see if that helps any. I don't think its a fuel pump problem, because once the car is running i am able to turn it on again; however, once it cools down it starts to become a problem.

I had a pretty similar issue with my 91 Accord. It would not start after sitting in the sun on a warm day. It turned out to the be main relay as batallic suggests. Good Luck.

I am happy you got your car to run again. The biggest lesson to be learn here is that it is not a good idea to start throwing money at the car looking for the one part magical solution. With a little patience and a good explanation of the symptoms you will end up saving yourself a lot of frustration and money. As it stands right now you probably dumped a few hundred bucks into solving this problem when in reality is should only have cost you the price tag of the main relay.
