I have a 91 accord lx 4dr auto that stalls at stop lights when stopping fast. I have changed plugs, wires, distributer cap, rotor, distributer, fuel pump, fuel filter, cleaned the iacv, ficv, and I still have the same problem. The check engine light never comes on even when starting the car when it should. I have also changed the instrument cluster because it had some resisters and traces that looked like they burned out from overheating. I am wondering if it could be the ecu causing all my problems. I tried to check the codes by jumping out the connector on the passenger kick panel but still couldn't get the check engine light to come on. Could it be that the check engine light wont light up with a bad computer? I'm going nuts and broke trying to fix this thing. Any help would be appreciated.
