which slave cylinder?

Default which slave cylinder?

i have a h2b hatch with hydro b16 tranny and was wondering what slave cylinder i should get to replace the one on it? 99-00 or 96-98? thanx

it doesn't matter. Honda uses the same slave cylinder for the b and d series motor.
all depends whether you want oem or aftermarket.

i also recommend you replace the master cylinder as well (if you haven't all ready). if one goes the other will soon follow. not to mention you already have to bleed the clutch system, why not bleed it once.

Yeah i was working on bleeding it and the bleeder bolt/valve broke in half when i was tightening it. half fell out, half is still in there. i figured i could get it out with a tap or just get a new one from autozone or something.

LOL, if you already have the tools to try and get the valve out then go ahead. but if you have to go and buy the tools, you might as well just get a new slave cylinder. the tools are going to cost almost as much as the cylinder, being that the cylinder is only about $20.

yeah, it's funny this would come up. i did the same parts replacement on my 92 civic b16 and my bosses 98 civic ex. both parts were exaclty the same.

i just replaced my slave cylinder 2 days ago they are cheap got mine from auto zone for like 13 bucks.
