Default Turbo B18B

I know that VTEC is the God of everything honda. But How much HP could I get out of a stock B18b? I mean they are so much cheaper.....for the price of a B16a or B18c engine and turbo, how much hp could i get out of a b18b engine then turbocharging it?

~300whp is the safe range for most all stock internal B series engines...VTEC or not. People have pushed them further, but with more power comes a greater chance of something going wrong. If you search the forums, there are several examples of this. For example, my turbo stock block GSR made 315whp for 2 years with no trouble...and it was my dd

I'm pushing 281whp/234wtq on 10psi on my stock B18B using a T3/T04. It's quite alot of fun as a DD. Not much lag and lots of tq to boot around in our relatively lightweight chassis.

Here's my dyno fyi.
