Default Dropped 2 inches front/rear....tires to fat?

Whats up guys, my ep has Ground Control/Koni Yellows. If i am not mistaken the car is lowered 2 inches front/rear, she is sitting on 205/55/16 tires. I have 2 questions:

1. If i go to a 205/45/16 tire, will i be able to go lower (as in not rub)? Right now the front is lowered to the max (not seen in the pic) while the back is still at the same height (shown in pic) so the front sits almost an inch lower than the back but when you look at the fender/wheel wells....they look somewhat equal since there is no finger gap whatsoever. Id like to bring down the back half an inch to "match" up with the front.
*My front rubs my fender liner when i make u turns or go down steep driveways.

2. If i go to a 205/45/16 tire, at a 2 inch drop....will the ep sit lower than another ep with the same 2 inch drop but on 205/55/16?

*Thank you in advance

Huh?

A shorter tire will put your car closer to the ground, but it will also increase the tire/fender gap.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Why don't you get a stock diameter tire? You currently have a tire that's too tall, now you want to go to one that's too short.

Is it just me or do I see no purpose in slamming your car other than to hinder driveability and performance. Why do you want to drop it more than 2 inches?? Why??

Thanks guys, well i wanna drop it more than 2 inches to get acquire some dumpage. I know handling goes down south with a drop more than two inches but since im not tracking my car its not an issue....call me a ricer but i just liked dumped cars. The reason im looking at another tire size is because the stock 205/ 55/ 16 tires are too tall and they rub. Im thinking the 45 series will fix this. Thanks SkankyEJ7 for the compliment.

If a 205/55/16 rubs, then you have the incorrect wheel offset or camber issues. Or, you are lowered too much and you don't have enough springrate to keep the car off the fenderliner. Did you cut your bumpstops too much or just take them off?

There is no reason to stray from the factory sized tire unless you know what you exactly what are doing.

I wish people would just accept the fact that these cars can't be slammed without serious issues happening.

i know i have the correct wheel offset (45) since my 16 inch slips are the same specs as the stock 04-05 wheels. As for the bumpstops, i have no idea if they were cut/omitted (i would assume the shop kept them) Also dont you need the bumstops?
Definition: Rubber bumpers (often cone or wedge shaped) on the chassis that limit suspension travel. "Bottoming out" the suspension means hitting the bump stops.
*bump stops sound like they are a VIP (very important part) and should not be tampered/removed. You mention there is no reason to stray from the factory sized tire, but when you go to 17s then your tire size will change so you have to keep the diameter the same right? You mention these cars...the DC5/EP3 arent like the older hondas ie. Integras, EGs, EKs, CDs, Preludes, Del Sols, etc when it comes to lowering...is that cause were on mcphereson v.s. double wishbone and mcphereson suspension is harder to lower?

Thanks for the help

*edit

I read the FAQ on lowering a EP3/DC5 more than 1.5 inches and its pros/cons/etc.
Now i know about that.

If you're cat ain't scraping the reflectors in the highway, you're not low enough.

thanks RedDC5. I decided to not lower her anymore since 2+ inches is gonna throw out the suspension geometry and i realized being dumped would severely limit where i will be able to travel...not worth it imo.
