painting trim

so the paint on the trim is coming off and im trying to take them off so i can paint them...anybody know how to take them off?
im talking about the trim next to the window

Aren't those trim pieces your talking about black to being with? If those are the ones, I say sand them down and respray them black with a spray can.

yea but im trying to figure out how to get them off the door so i can sand them down to repaint them

i didn't know they were painted to begin with. i thought they were rubber.

my car is about 5 yrs old and it looks brand new still.

the verticle is black molded plastic adn the horizontal pieces are rubber

I've seen the horizontal ones chipping on EM2's... I was just talking about it last night with someone.
I'd say scrape it all off and repaint it.

thats what im trying to do, but i would rather take the whole piece off and sand it down and spray it instead of sticking newspaper around it and spray it
