Your first mod?
the last time i had been in a position to add the first mod was in 1999
and back then it was more about sound and looks, so i went for the exhaust, mainly because when i bought the car it had a cherry bomb muffler that sounded horrible.
and i still have that first mod to this day

I did suspension, drop springs, I dropped my car because I couldn't stand the stock stance. I've had the car for 6 years now and I'm still running the dirty D...I think its about time for a swap I just don't want to spend the money.

haha, I've had the car 2 years, and I bought it with the b7 swap. I really want to swap in an LS but I just don't know how to yet :-/

If starting with a stock car, you should start with suspension/tires, then brakes, then motor swap, or other signifigant upgrades (High compression/turbo, etc.). This is from a safty standpoint. It is not the safest to add a bunch of power to a car that can't handle or stop well. For most motor swaps not going turbo or anything that will add signifigant power, the stock brakes in good shape are usually sufficient. If just doing the typical CAI,/exhaust stuff, the order does not really matter IMO.
tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!
tires offer the biggest improvement on a cars handling and there is no bigger thrill then beating a evo down a mountain road with a stock ef

Are we talking first mod ever? ...or first mod to our current cars.
First mod ever was 6-2-1 headers on my 300ZX. First mod to the CRX was returning to stock springs from the previous owner's cut springs.
I bought the CRX from a guy on this site, but I don't know if he is still around. Military guy in Florida. Sold the car because he was getting deployed.
