4 door Gs-R's

Take a look at the block's code, it should say b18 c1.

If it has a B16 in it, then it's no longer a GSR. The B16 motor comes from the Civic Si. I'd steer clear of it if you truely want a GSR.

The 98-01 Integras underwent a refinement in the looks dept compared to the 94-97 models. Google some images to see what i'm talking about. I'd personally go after a 98-01 Integra.

if it matters to you,
OBDI 94-95
OBIIA 96-99
OBDIIB + immobilizer 2000-2001
obd2 has an extra o2 sensor in the exhaust pipe, as well as an immobilizer (linked to the ecu)

there are other things, but these are the two main things i know of.

There many factors when asking if the price of a car sounds right..
1) The year helps Edit: saw it was a 95
2) The Mileage
3) Any Rust?
4) Salvage title? or clear?
5) If it's the same one that you were talking about with the B16, I would pass.. you can find real GSR's with they're original B18c1 in them for $4,500 depending on where you are.

Just look at the block code. B16A is a jdm gsr, B17anything is a DB2 GSR. B18C1 is usdm gsr and B18C is the Jdm gsr if it says b16A(then a number) its an SI motor and not a gsr, tell that guy to lick something and walk away, especially for that price.

Obd 1 integras are 92-93 DA's and 94-95 DC's.

compare prices with hmotorsonline or password jdm. 4500 seems a bit steep. a type r motor with lsd goes for 4000-4500 on passwordjdm...

Hanmin, he's talking about buying a GSR Integra as a whole car, not just the motor

I bought a 95 GSR (All Stock) from an old man that looked like Mr. Burns for $4800. It has 90,000 miles and had just had the 90,000 maintenance done. He was the original owner and had records for all maintenance. This was in TX last year. So yeah, you need to consider title status, maintenance, mileage, vehicle condition, modifications, and so fourth to come to a conclusion on acceptable price.

wow wrong
OBDI 94-95
OBIIA 96-99
OBDIIB + immobilizer 2000-2001

the essential difference between revisions is the ecu... there really isnt much of a difference after that other than an extra O2 and the CPS moved from the distributor to the crank in '96.. .

i just bought a 97 integra gs-r that wasnt swapped it is an original gs-r, one way u can run the VIN number itll tell u if the body i sa gs-r or if it is a swap another on a gsr the gas tank flap will say premium unleaded fuel only and so will it right under ur speedo your VIN is the only real way hto everything else can be switched to give u the allusion of a real gs-r

umm yes, da jdm gsr's are read b16a, the usdm model says b17something.

and for 4500 for a 96+ gsr is a deal. Gsr's usually have leather seats and say gsr on the back. On GSR models the side moldings are the same color of the car, this is hard to notice on a black gsr. It should also say what model it is on the title

oh wow. were talking about <FONT SIZE="3">USDM</FONT> 94-2001 Integra GSRs

the fact that you dont know what came in a 2nd Gen USDM DB2 Integra shows you should stop talking... them JDM integras that came with B16s aren't GSRs pal.
