his post says 2001 gsr with 140k mileage, lol

6900 would be okay I guess, I got mine for 8500 and I think it was a rip
got it at 85k mileage, clean, bone stock, but 8500 just seemed pricey

for you, I'd say 6200 IMO and no more than that

was that 'lol' to me or to him. cuz i was also asking about another gsr, a 1998 with 160k.

i havent checked the car out yet, just wanted to get an estimate judging from his ad. im willing to spend the amount that the car is worth, as in i dont want to feel like i overpaid for it or got ripped off.

Personally I'd wait until another one rolls around, you can find one a little cheaper than that that,, besides it's modded man, you'd be better off buying something that hasn't been touched, you'll run into less problems down the road.

yeah it's hard to come by an untouched gs-r. there were a lot of them modded out there when I tried to find mine, took three months =[

just wait it out...you'll always find lower priced ones. Me, on the other hand, was hella impatient and bought my gs-r for 8500...couldn't pay for gas for the next month...had to be a taxi

So wait it out!!!
yes the lol was to him btw

lol the guy I bought my car from originally asked for 10k. I bargained him so bad...so overall even though 8500 was still expensive, it felt good the fact that I knocked down his price by 1500

You know, it all really depends on the area you're looking to buy from. Prices vary GREATLY between different regions for cars due to their scarcity (the good and clean integras somewhere are harder to find, and therefore are in greater demand... people will simply pay more for them!) Even in my area (Tacoma, Washington) where these cars are pretty scarce due to people crashing, racing, abusing, etc. their Hondas, you can expect to pay anywhere between $4500 to $6000 for a decent 94-97 GSR and about $6500 to $8500 for a decent 98-01 GSR.

After searching for a LOOOONG time, the best I have found was my 1996 GSR, which is mint and un-touched, for $5500... And that was after some serious bartering lol. But I think $6 is a good price, but ONLY if the car is in IMMACULATE condition! Because if its not, then you're going to be really kicking yourself if a more-than-average car comes up for the same price.

I would pay 6900 for that 01 gsr anyday... if i had the money in hand. The big difference is that its a 01 model, the last year of the integra which is always the best. and 00 and 01 models don't get stolen, rarely get stolen if anything. The ignition is reinforced so it isn't easy to break. I say try to barter with him/her, but take it anyways for 6900 if you cant get him lower.

If you scroll down the post it says

"turbo integra rs ls gs type-r gsr civic boost greddy bov blow-off valve drag rota 5-speed 94 95 96 97 98 99 del sol accord s2000 eg6 ek da9 hatch b18b1 b18c5 b18c1 b16a b17 d15 d16"

So this guy is posting random words that have nothing to do with his ride in order to get search results. What else do you think he half assed on his car? Just watch out with it, he's obviously not wroth trusting.

And come on, he's not trying to find real honda/acura fans by only naming things like greddy, and rota. But he's naming blow off valves and the word drag. I wouldnt trust that seller with my neighboors parote man. Keep an eye on your wallet.

Explaining my point further. His teg has work done. My deduction skills tell me, anyone with work done to their teg, would know and understand the honda acura world more. So being as they were typing in random words to be searched, youd think with acura knowledge would have words like JDM, or even some of the actual names of companies parts he has. He claims to have AEM, skunk 2, b&m, but in his list of search words he only has rota and greddy. Thats a lil suspicious am I right? And the icing on the cake, he bought it from the original driver whos an old man and took care of his car. A story of an old man, looking for a nice race car, buys a gsr... in 2001? Im suprised he didnt say he was in the army and he has to sell his baby before he leaves on mission. haha, my guess is he's only got a few pictures of that teg, not much more. Go check it out though, Id love to see that their arent ******** like this in the world. But im guessing its not his.

why is this wrong to get more people to pull up your listing when they're doing a search? he's not claiming to have any of that...

learn to spell. at $6900, i think it's a decent deal. the good side is that it's an 01 and black on black. the mods are just entry level... nothing too spectacular, but not straight up trash at the same time. the thing holding this back would be the miles at 140k. i'd ask why such high miles, of course. check all the bushings and maintenance and such and if it all clears, i think you may have a winner. in the end, it's worth whatever you're willing to spend. if you're willing to spend $6900 on it, then it's worth it.

I was saying I wouldnt trust someone whos trying to get search results from people searching for completely different things. Someone looking for a boosted civic might find this NA Integra. Not fair. But I see that as untrustworthy, thats my 2 cents. Take it or leave it.

And Jomama? Is that your username anywhere else?

interesting logic. if it works for you, then do you mean to ask, "is your username used anywhere else?" or "is that your username? are you listed anywhere else?" - because i'm not sure what you're asking. regardless, that is my username. and no, i'm not listed anywhere else, but in this age of the iNTeRnETZ, someone else could be using the dope SN
