Default Installing cabin harness?

To make a long story short, my cabin harness is a [freak]ing piece of ****. I found a ton of bare wires and cut wires. I found a used cabin harness for super cheap (considering how much they are brand new from Acura ~$700). I could fix the shitty harness but I figured the newer harness would be a better idea. Anyone have any tips or advice, I ask because any amount of frustration towards this car is going to be very very bad, I am sick of it and its on its last leg before I go ballistic. Thanks guys.

edit: I also ask because last time I disconnected any of the cabin harness, I couldn't get my car to start, it sat for months then I broke down and took it to Acura and they fixed it in one day, I didn't plugup the immobilizer (granted I didn't even know what it looked like since my helms is a 98 version as opposed to my 2000).
