Default Odd temp gauge problem.

I searched and couldnt find anyone with the same problem so here it goes. When driving the temp gauge starts to rise close to the H.When I come to a stop the gauge goes back down to normal. However, when the car is just sitting at idle the gauge stays at normal. If anyone has had this problem too and knows of the most likely solution I will be very thankful, seeing how this is my only mode of transport atm.

stop driving the car. check your coolant, clear the system of air pockets.

its likely a coolant leak.

overheating your car is a good way to destroy the engine.
