i was outside changing my valve cover gasket when i noticed there is a star on the head. i thought it was scratched in but when i ran my finger over it it is cast into the head. i searched and found one thread on h-t about it but no solid info as to what it means. the car is a 94 gsr and is bone stock. i compared the head to my race motor that is going in that car soon and my 95 gsr head has nothing like it. here are some pics:







i also noticed on my 95 head only one of these blocks is filled with a charactor..on the 94 gsr head all three are filled with a charactor probably means nothing but it was just something i found odd...perhaps a mold number to id the mold they cast these heads in??
