Jimmy Oconnor moved up to a Supra, Venom civic got redone and it eventually became Eggum's civic.

its the only time in my life i will be able to say i made it to the semifinals in the all motor 16 class!!!
got beaten by one of those damn VW bugs!!! it was bug to bug in the finals.

dam jerry look how young we all looked back then. i was a baby! lol well 19 but still look at shawn carlson with all the surfer hair! and frank, he was like 30 right there!
i have a vid of that pass of steph and ed doing that historic pass somewhere here. man look at how many people were there. i wonder what alot of them are doing now....

! those were some great times back then... the Day after Steph's 9 Second pass was the day we signed him at DVS Shoes... and look 9 years later they are still involved! (even though i'm out)
People need to recognize and support people and companies that have been around supporting racers for a long time now!

I think the weirdest old school race I went to was when the original track (pomona?) had a scheduling conflict and the import race was held in pit lane at California Speedway. 1/8 mile, with cal-trans lights. lol.
