My car is worth ~16k

There is a guy interested in trading his '02 Fire Pepper Red Rsx-S with intake/exhaust and 76k miles + ~3k cash

Nada saids his car is worth 12k max and kbb saids 11.5ish. What do you guys think the value is?

Anything specific to look for while checking out the car? I'm planning on doing a compression test, already checked the vin, anything else?

 

If your's is really worth $16k why is he only giving you $3k? I'd do a trade and have him give you the difference. You should ask for $4000-4500 cash. The current market value on RSX's and EP's is actually lower than KBB or NADA but it could be that way for all cars. Don't add any value with those mods.

Check for tranny grinds, especially in 2nd and 3rd gear.
