the air intake thing should be cleared up a bit i think........ this is not sticking past the front bumper, so it should be legal correct?
on the other hand, if i was to put a velocity stack on it....it would be "past" the front bumper.....would that be illegal?

I agree.
Definitely needs to be a little more clear. Someone could mount a vstack- say on the end of the pipe in Joe's picture but the back sat flush to the bumper, the point could be argued that it sits flush against the bumper and did not extend past

For example...
If this was a legal T/S car would the rule revision on the Air Intake topic make this car legal or not??

I can't view the photo's.
But "Air inlet may not extend past the front bumper " to me means something can't be any further forward then the surface of the front bumper. Something mounted in top of the surface is forward of that bumpers surface.

im at work too so i cant view or find any pics right now. i would interpret it the same way as it is for pure street and how it was for street stock last year. look at timmy or loans cars that is perfectly fine even joe simpsons (which i assume is in the pics) is a good example of whats ok. a flush mount may be questionable thats the only thing that might need an ok but obiviously they dont want a pipe extending out of the bumper line with a horn or whatever on it.

THE PICTURE ABOVE IS 100% LEGAL... THE RS PICS MIGHT NOT BE SO
