Default 215/40-16

205/45-16 is the recomended size for 16" wheels but I'm looking at getting Falken FK-452. They do not come in 205/45-16 but they do have 215/40-16 which has a smaller profile and a little wider.

My question is that the 40 series profile. Is that too low? I've heard that it'll knock the speedo off a little bit. Anyone on here run 40 series on 16" wheels?

I was going to go 40 series, but ended up going 45 series because I hear if you hit a bump or pothole too hard it'll bend the rim.

Yeah, most people said that in changing the tire size from 205/45-16 to 205/40-16.
