Default timing belt pulley removal *pics inside*

having trouble loosening this pulley and removing it. any suggestions?

Spray some nut buster "PB Blaster" on it and let it soak.

Then pull on the sprocket with your hand while tapping the sprocket with a hammer. You can also have a friend use a screwdriver or prybar in conjunction with you pulling on it and tapping it with a hammer.

That should work.

so it wouldnt be necessary to buy a pulley puller for $25? it basically should just 'slide' right off?

Just have a bro come over, and slap a flat-head in his hand. Man one yourself, and pry on opposite sides while pulling w/ your hand. It will come off, even though they can be bitches.
