run the fans directly from the battery to see if they are bad or not. than go from there

Fan switch? Try and first running the fan like stated above. If it works, then it just might be the fan switch. If it doesnt, then it is time for a new fan.

I'm not sure but your's might have a temp sensor in the back of the block. It could be that too.

fan switch is on the cylinder head under the distributor. its the small sensor with one wire on it.

its a little unusual that the condenser fan doesn't turn on with A/C. are you sure the relays are ok?

yea the relays are fine, temp sensor is fine, fuses are fine, i checked both fans straight to the battery and they work, the only other thing i can think of is the wiring somewhere. the ac fan is supposed to come on every time i turn it on, right?

p.s. does anyone have picture of the fan switch?

i'm having the same problems on my daily 96 gsr after i rebuilt the motor. if push the A/C button, the fan doesn't kick in. no cold air. fuses are fine. all the connections are fine. ... i did, however, notice a puncture/tear in one of the radiator hoses in the head (back left corner) where radiator fluid starting flowing out and vaporizing JUST this last week... after about a month of driving the damn thing. i'll fix that and hope it fixes the A/C since the radiator cap issue ^ above brings up the same sort of issues that a leak in the coolant system raises. Fudge, now i'm just thinking about fixing the darn thing and getting rid of it
