Default 5th Gen Accord Cluster/Climate Lighting??

In an Accord gauge cluster and climate control, do the bulbs have green condoms on them, or do they use a green secondary overlay behind the white lettering overlay (like a CR-V cluster)? I'm trying to do a lighting conversion in a Civic, and I would like to use the OEM color.

I tried looking at the parts catalog, but Ican't tell too well from the EPC photos, etc, so I figured I'd ask here.

TIA.

I'm fairly sure the back cluster bulbs don't have a cover over them - nor do the two overheads.

It's been awhile since I looked though.

So the color comes from an overlay on the back of the cluster, like a CR-V?

Damnit.

Yeah, however don't be sad.

Rubbing alcohol and you can wipe off the greenish tint.

Therein lies the problem. I've got a 97 Civic. I want the green that Accords have. Looks like I'll have to settle for colored glass bulbs.

OHHHH

I see what you're trying to do.

As a suggestion, if you're trying to buy those nipples of color

They're on the ash tray light.

I'm changing over my Civic EX cluster and Acura EL climate control (with clock) from amber to green. What I'll probably end up using is:

Green glass bulbs in the cluster/cliamte
97 SE Cd player
Green Lens from Accord clock
Green Cruise Control NEO-WEDGE bulb for foglight switch.

Hope it turns out ok ... I can't find any Honda bulb with a green condom that will fit the 5 #24 bulbs I need, let alone the one #194 bulb.
