I'm just trying to get an opinion on what cams i could run on my 9.2:1 compression type r/gsr. before you ask, i built it for going turbo but quickly ran my wallet dry and now i have an extra mouth to feed sense the beginning of the project, so no turbo for a while. I would like it to run as good as i can get it NA. i know it wont be great 'cuz the low compression. I have gsr cams in it now. it has a heavy port and polish an edelbrock vicktor x manifold w/port and polish ferea valves, comp cams springs and titanium retainers, 65mm edelbrock TB, 9.2 je pistons, crower rods, stock type r crank, sleeved to 84mm. and a zex wet kit. It will be a beast when the turbo goes on. but that looks like that wont happen till the 2 kids are out of high school and that's not for 18 years.

Sorry, I don't have a good answer for you, but you might consider selling the block and buying an N/A built one.
