Type R Turned S2000
So i use to have 2000 type R until somebody decided to take it ou of my life. So finally I have gotten back into the honda world and just picked up a 2004 S2000 and need some ideas on what to do to it as far as mods.
wow, bold move man. typeR > s2k is like only 1 step down in theft rate lol.
for mod's i think a hardtop / nice drop / wheels are good enough

First and Foremost:
1) Learn the Car
2) Engine Performance:
IMO, drivetrain mods will get you there better than bolt ons. IE:
- Gears
- Clutch
- Lightened Flywheel
Then Bolt-Ons:
- Intake
- 70mm Single Exhaust
- EMS
3) Suspension:
Be careful which suspension you run. It can either make or break your car. Don't run any of that TDM 32 way dampening bullshit because there all the same but rebadged. That is all. Do your hw on this.

I hate to agree with UP-ers, but I agree this time.
Suspension will net the best gains. Turbo is great if you want to drag race....except for 1 problem. The S2000 sucks for drag racing. So it's really a futile effort.
Keep it NA. Enjoy actually DRIVING it. Go to a track. Then start modding.
Tires/suspension first.
Whatever else later.
Leave it NA.

I would have to say that my 2 best mods so far are:
KW Variant 3's
PuddyMod Custom Built 4.56R Diff
Although these mods are the most expensive ones, they net the most noticable gains.
The N/A and Turbo is always a hot topic, but a turbo can also be used in Time Attack, which is what I plan on doing. 350 whp is my goal with a GT3071R once we have time to make a nice manifold for it. If I was going to keep it for street driving, I would keep it N/A.

I love my KW V3s too. I would hug them every night, but my GF would get pissed off.
Better build it right. A time attack car that blows up and sprays oil all over the track doesn't turn very fast lap times.

you can get GREAT gains N/A with the right mods. don't listen to all these people saying you cannot get power N/A.
for the Ap2, 70mm headerback single, AEM V2, and AEM EMS or Ulitmate e-manage.
that right there your looking at over 20 + Whp and weight loss from the exhaust.
with just the T1R 70R my car made 14 WHP back to back dyno runs!

and you are? funny, you're talking about NA, but your s/n is "blownap"
and really, you think 14-20whp is a great gain? um no....you want real gains, you go boost
i enjoy my s2000 non-boosted, but if i was looking for only straight line power, all motor would NOT be an option
