ok so i'm asking this for a good friend. my buddy just bought a new o8 civic si the two door not the four door, but any way he's concerned about the tranny he says that the 06-07 tranny's pop out in 4th gear when cruising. so he wants to know if there is anything he has to worry about on the 08 si. any help is appreciated. thanks

If he just bought it, tell him to swap out the trani fluid and go with AMS oil. It will shift much smoother.

 

If the VIN is out of this range, I think you're good.

too bad the tsb isnt a recall they cant do anything unless they replicate the issue
