Default 1991 Auto Trans Slow Pressure Build Up When Cold

Hello,
I have a recent problem where the trans pressure is not building up immediatly after the car has sat for a while or during a cold start in the morning. When I put it in gear (D or R) immediately after firing the engine it will take 2 or 3 seconds before the car actually is moving. Once running I cannot feel slippage or other anomalies... Does anyone know what causes this and how I can fix it. ...complete trans rebuild? ...external valve rebuild? I still love the ole' CB7 and she gets me to work and back at least three days a week?

Hello Derek,

All fluids are new and at level. No codes are thrown. After the slow initial build up of pressure, the tranny acts and functions normal. After short stops such as shopping or such pressure is instantly there...
