i would like to see this happen.....i think it would be good for the sport of drag racing in general.

I wouldnt say "stuck up" Dont let one clown taint the whole bunch. Dont get me wrong there are A LOT of tools on that site but also some good guys, also the tech sections on that site are probably the best on the internet. That thread hasn't even started yet if you can believe it..keep an eye on it.

 

man, I have never taken offense to racial slurs, but reading some of those post makes me second guess my fellow americans....sad....oh well...

It may sadden you but it angers me. More then half of this country is filled with confederates, racists, and stereo-typical people who still believe the mason dixon line exists. I think alot of people out there don't like the fact that Nero and Bottle are minorites and team Titan is sucessful as it is. I hate to say it but there is alot of racism amongst racing in the U.S., I experienced it first hand at the PRI show.

Bill Glidden shouldn't count his chickens, I'm pretty sure none will hatch.

 

I would LOVE to see this race happen! It's funny because i see some parallels between that culture and the import culture. All the nutswingers argue about is "it's got this many CI, he's backhalf, he weighs less/more" etc etc. Whatever the it is, bottom line, its just excuses regardless of what side that says it.

Now I could see the point if this was a sanctioned race with specific rules and regulations but in a match/grudge race, does it really matter?. Run what you brung and on do it on 10.5 tires. Obviously both cars have run similar ET's already so itll be a good race regardless of who wins.
