Lower control arm bolts
I need some suggestions on how to get the castle nuts back on the lower control arms. I removed them to change my clutch. The ball joints were damn stubborn. I purchase a special tool to remove the arms. The arms did not come off gracefully at all. I thought the tool would go first. Basically it seems that the screws are mushroomed now
I tried force, but the screw will just spin since I have no way to secure it to prevent it from spinning. I could get it on, I believe, if I could prevent the spinning. Here is a picture of the bolt in question stolen from c-speed.

yeah been there, impact gun does the trick. but if you have someone stand on the rotor the presure might stop it from spinning. getting your hands on some air tools is the best bet

hahahaha man that sucks.....ivs SO been there......those balljoints are a real bitch eh?.....try the upper balljoint.....i also bought a fork too to get it out and it didnt exactly work.....sorry cant really help you i used an impact gun
if youre using the wrench its no the same, it just spins nonstop, the impact gun hammers it on. yes you can replace that piece withough doing the hole hub. but dont even thing about going thorough that nightmare. seriously jump on it and make sure its seated all the way int because it wont spin if it wedged in. secondly if that doesnt work clean up the threads with a file so that it threads on easily. but your best bet is getting an impact gun. last thought is lift it a bit off the LCA and try to get some skinny pliers in there and have someone hold onto it while you thread it. Thanks guys. I actually tried all the suggestions you posted. The plier idea, and impact wrench were the first tries. Standing on it helped, but did not do it.
Use the carjack to jack up the LCA until it seats the balljoint firmly into the LCA.
I had to do that and it worked better then standing on the rotor
OMG... I thought I was the only one that had that problem before... My threads were all rounded and mushroomed after several attemps to screw the sucker back on. The joint would't seat either
. I put the car back together (wheel and brakes) and let the car car sit on it's own weight while I had to re thread the SOB's. The next day I tried it again and I miraculously screwed back in. I dunno what to tell you, but some tegs act like bitches sometimes...
