I am thinking about getting my interior re-done in a dark tan (saddle color) leather. seats, inserts, shift boot. would it be better if i had this done with my stock stuff or should i go the route of just buying another interior. i got a quote of 1300 for the re-upholstery. and if i should go the re done way, any good shops in the SE PA/ tri-state region?

only reason im posting this is because i saw a guy with a red eg hatch on here from out west that had tan leather and it looked so nice. i want that look.

should i just buy tan gsr seats? im really looking for something darker though.

o and money is not a problem either way. i am just looking for the best advice on the subject.

If i were doing this, i would just get the stock stuff recovered. It will look clean because it all flows together nicely in stock form already, so changing the color wont change the way the car goes together. just my .02

 

thats what i was thinking. ill give an idea of what my car will look like at the end of summer. re-spray in fiji blue or monte carlo blue pearl. so dark blue. and new leather interior in a dark tan or light brown. interior is seats, shift boot and door inserts.

 

anyone else have an opinion?
